Exclamation Skill Trainer in Guild Hall

The support team of GW told me to see the option of about this of your reponse.

Yea i know the Skill Trainer Cost 100k and only sell Core skill. Many people who likly to say put all skills in it. Well that don't work it would make Gw into a monthy pay instead. other say by doing balth factions, that doesn't work Either due to the with pvp unlock skills package. So i suggested to them Why you don't make a quest that make them go to The area of the campaign? they beat that quest the section of that campaign will be open to that one person. BUT it only individual not if one person unlock it every1 does in the guild. basically it prevent other people from taken advantage of the campaign skills and you can buy your skills at the gh after you unlock with your balth guy who also in there.

P.S. Admin/mod if you feel this doesn't go anywhere Remove this or move it to where it belongs and Thank you.

I like your idea.
At the moment the skill trainer in the guildhall is faily useless.
I've only used him to buy signet of capture so far.
Completing a quest to get (some of) the skills unlockt at the guildhall sound like a good idea to me.
Could be made into someting intresting.

Im sure they could make an interesting quest out of this. Maybe the trainer is a master at learning skills, and is interested in expanding his knowledge, but he first my explore the lands in order to attain the skills. So you go on a ridiculous journey across the continent to meet all of the masters who will teach him the skills...Thatd be fun i think

LOLOLOL LEARN ENGLISH

now that that's out of the way i agree with your idea however i think the skill trainer in the GH should just sell you every skill you've unlocked on your account with balth faction (excluding elites ofc). I see no problem in this and you wouldn't have to go on a mad hunt to all three main cities to see where the skill is sold.

WHY SKILL MASTER CAN'T SELL OTHER SKILLS BUT CORE:

#1: Balth Fraction unlock-You can buy a Campiagn Unlock pvp skill package for 10 buck each there all the fractions, Nightfall, proph or Eotn alrdy unlock without buying the game. people will take advantage of this.

#2:As i say before on the first post if all skill were open the skill master in the guild hall then GW will likly to turn into monthly pay game then free.

#3: by making them doing a quest it make it more harder for them to "cheat or find loop holes"

#4. I post this In the Wrong Section XD

#5. that should be it

I think for 100k he should be able to let you buy all skills you have unlocked not just core.

Also.. I apologize if English isn't your primary language..but if it is man you need to work on it before trying to make points on a public forum or all your gonna get is torn up by people.

Make it so you can buy any skill already unlocked on your account. The same way normall skill trainers work, except non-campaign specific, and they dn't have "extra skills" that are not unlocked.

That is not correct. You cannot apply an unlock pack to a campaign you do not own. You cannot unlock, capture, or use skills for campaigns that you do not own. For example, if you only own Prophecies + EotN, you cannot capture a Nightfall skill in EotN even though some of the foes have it. So it would be no problem if the trainer in the guild hall had Nightfall skills, since you couldn't unlock or use them unless you owned the campaign.

If you own a campaign and the skill unlock pack for the campaign, you can go to any skill trainer in the campaign to learn any skill. Including the skill trainers in newbie areas. Since every player can get to skill trainers in newbie areas, then what is the big deal about letting the guild hall trainer also sell the skills to them? Likewise with skills unlocked using Balthazar faction.

If you own a campaign but do not have the unlock pack, then I agree that the guild hall trainer should not offer you skills until you've reached the point where trainers in the campaign offer them.

Agreed.
lol. Everything else is right there at the hall, but if you want to buy non-core skills, you still have to go to whatever skill trainer to do it even if you have all the skills unlocked anyway. Kinda silly.

This thread is a disaster. You can improve it by adding m0ar grammar.

On-topic though:
It should be possible to give GH skill trainers all skills that are unlocked for your account, and yes, I'd like to see this. Finally reaching the outpost where you can learn that skill you want is fun once, but after the first time, you just want to be able to build your character the way you want it.

I agree that the skill trainer is way over priced for what it offers, and its mostly useless in the current form. However, skills were placed in aspects of the game for a reason or all skills would be sold in ascalon. But with the addition of tomes to the game, any level 1 toon can have an expert bar, provided at least one of your toons has made it thru all the games and areas to unlock them on your account. So the reasons for spreading skills over various areas mechanic is now no longer valid. And now with selling skill packs to unlock them on your account without ever having to go to any area whatsoever, they might as well just make the hall skills trader have access to all skills everywhere no matter what. I dont think a special quest is needed to do this. Might as well just have them unlocked to the trader once one of your toons completes a game.

Make that merchant worth what we have to pay for him.

if you have the skills unlocked on your account you can already buy those skills from any trainer in that game, IE: if you have unlocked Rodgort's Invocation you can learn it anywhere in prof, we just wana do that with the skill trainer in the GH, you can also already learn skills with tomes... elite skills at level 1.

maybe require the quest to get to each game to be done already on that char and then its just a matter of convince.

also I use the merch in my GH everyday I'v never used the skill trainer cause he dose not have any skills I want usualy, we are just asking for the same for our skill trainer.

I agree the skill trainer is worthless, but whats wrong with popping into town to buy your skill? Takes ten seconds. There is really no problem here to be solved.

It's a question of convenience - like many other suggestions that pop up.

As for the O.P. It would be nice if all normal skills were available at the Guild Hall. How about this: Have THREE skill trainers, one for each campaign, available in the Guild Halls. (But not at 100K each!) They could program them to deny services to people who don't have the campaign they're associated with.

Because some of us don't want to pop into three different campaigns to but our skill. It's convenience.

For 100k, the Skill Trainer does need more use...
I figured it you unlock the skill you should be able to buy it again, and that'd be the place to do it

You get a Skill Trainer for convenience maybe, but it's not worth 100k -- it would be however if he had all the skills you ever unlocked in PvE or PvP avaliable to be bought, that would be worth 100k in my mind

It's ridiculous that every skill trainer in every town or outpost has a list of every skill you've unlocked on your account, but the one skill trainer you have to pay for does not.

This really needs to be fixed, and since the other trainers work correctly, I can't believe it would be that hard to change.
